Hocus Pocus star Bette Midler claimed that Trump was a cruel and malignant leader. The actress also declared that the president’s jealousy of Obama would “kill us all.”

The initial news about Trump’s decision to discontinue Obamacare for a specific health period had garnered criticism for left-wing supporters, including Midler. In her recent tweet, the actress described the president as cruel and malignant, calling the current administration “horrifying.” She also added that “His overwhelming jealousy of @BarackObama will kill us all.”

Other social media users also went along with Midler’s accusations.

Singer Nancy Sinatra agreed with the actress, saying that she wished the president will have his own “dose of evil.”

Another user screamed that the US president is a “murderer.”

While an avid Democrat supporter said that the country does not really need a healthcare plan since the president wanted to get “rid” of his own people.

In fact, one suggested that Trump does not really care about anyone other than himself.

Even former vice-president and Democratic front-runner Joe Biden echoed Midler’s sentiments, citing the president’s decision as “callous” and one that would, unfortunately, lead to death.

The actress’s response came after the administration had announced that it would discontinue Obamacare to cover the cost of treating coronavirus patients. In a White House Press briefing, the president said that they are looking at other alternatives such as Medicaid and Medicare as a replacement for the discontinued health care plan.

The media outlet, Politico, also wrote that the Affordable Care Act also allows people who have lost their access to healthcare plans to obtain a special enrollment. Other states who had their own insurance market have also re-opened.

Trump’s decision came as no surprise. Back in 2016, Trump had already promised that he would “repeal and replace” Obamacare. However, the administration’s efforts to change the law failed, although they were able to take away a significant portion of the act. According to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ official website, Trump had issued “sweeping” changes to allow them to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic efficiently. CMS wrote that these changes would help hospitals and other healthcare systems to immediately deliver crucial health services to other locations for patients who are in dire need of medical facilities.

Across the globe, other countries have also grappled with the damage of the deadly virus. Currently, coronavirus cases have been close to 1 million, with Spain declaring that they have witnessed more than 10,000 deaths, and Italy with 13,000 while the US exceeds 5,000.

On Wednesday, the outspoken Trump critic also dismissed the president’s claim that he was trending on social media. Midler seemed to imply that Trump was simply spreading fake news, saying that he was “not the number 2 either.”

Midler also accused Trump of being a murderer. Back in February, Midler warned the American public that if Trump is to win the upcoming 2020 elections, “he will rule you until he dies, you die, or both.”

That same month, Midler referred to the movie Parasite, in which she claimed that the real one is currently sitting at the White House.
