Filmmaker Michael Moore shared a message on social media, claiming he reached out to the Ayatollah of Iran on Saturday evening by sending the Iranian leader a recored message of his podcast, Rumble.

Moore advised Ayatollah of Iran the Democrats will take care of President Trump and “fix this peacefully.”

Moore, who officially declared his support for Bernie Sanders in October 2019, tweeted, “I have just sent the Ayatollah of Iran a personal appeal asking him not to respond to our assassination of his top General with violence of any kind, but rather let me & millions of Americans fix this peacefully.”

Twitter user Imam Tawhidi tweeted Moore’s message was a fail because Moore addressed the message to the wrong person and the current leader has a Fatwa against music.

“Also, you address your message to Ayatollah Khomeini of Iran. That guy died on the 3rd of June 1989. Your whole tweet and message is a mess from start to finish. The current Ayatollah is Khamenei and he has a Fatwa against Music—which you play for him at the start. What a fail,” wrote Imam of Peace.

Moore also posted his message on Instagram with links to his podcast and Spotify.

Last December, during an interwive with Any Goodman on Democracy Now!, Moore made a prediction that President Trump would be re-elected.

Moore, who has a history of making correct predictions, stated, “If the vote were today, I believe, he would win the electoral states that he would need, because, living out there, I will tell you, his level of support has not gone down one inch.”

“In fact, I’d say it’s even more rabid than it was before, because they’re afraid now. They’re afraid he could lose, because they watched his behavior. So they are voracious in their appetite for Donald Trump. That’s the bad news,” added Moore.

In 2016, during a broadcast of RealTime with Bill Maher, Moore predicted Trump would win by carrying Michigan, Wisconsin, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. And he was accurate. This time Moore believes Trump will lose the popular vote again like what happened in 2016. But the number of people voting against Trump will increase.

“Hillary won by 3 million popular votes. I believe whoever the Democrat is next year is going to win by 4 to 5 million popular votes. There’s no question in my mind that people who stayed home, who sat on the bench, they’re going to pour out. There’s going to be a much higher percentage of people voting against him,” predicted Moore.
