On Saturday, Nike spokesperson and former football star Colin Kaepernick spoke out against the United States for the strike that killed Iranian General Qassem Soleimani, garnering much deserved criticism from conservatives on Twitter.

The anthem kneeler tweeted, “There is nothing new about American terrorist attacks against Black and Brown people for the expansion of American imperialism.”

In a second tweet, Kaepernick wrote, “America has always sanctioned and besieged Black and Brown bodies both at home and abroad. America militarism is the weapon wielded by American imperialism, to enforce its policing and plundering of the non white world.”

Conservatives didn’t let Kaepernick get away with his insults and tackled the former quarterback.

Fox Nation host Tomi Lahren tweeted to Kaepernick, “You’re welcome to move to Iran. Maybe you can get a job over there? Oh but P.S. you should see what they do to protesters over there….yikes. Bye!”

Ian Miles Cheong replied, “Kaepernick exposes himself as having no knowledge of the 1979 Iranian revolution or how the country came to be what it is. He assumes, wrongly, that the world was wonderful and completely at peace until “American imperialism” wrecked everything for those ‘black and brown bodies.’”

“That brown person you’re mourning had his militia shoot and kill 1500 brown people (innocent Iranian protestors) in just one week. If you really cared about justice you would have thought about them before tweeting this garbage,” replied Imam Tawhidi / Imam of Peace.

One Twitter user told Kaepernick to stop being a poster boy for communism.

On Fox’s Saturday Morning Futures, Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) called Kaerpernick a “loser on and off the field.”

“He’s a loser on and off the field… He’s a racist. If you’re looking for racism in America, Mr. Kaepernick, look in the mirror,” said Senator Graham.
