White House aides delivered President Trump’s Christmas cards to the Democrat members of Congress on Wednesday. The beautiful hand written cards, signed by the President and First Lady Melania, also contained copies of the scathing six-page letter written by President Trump to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA).

Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) wrote on Twitter, “True story: there is a White House staffer going around the Senate delivering to each office, as a package, the incoherent, scathing Pelosi letter AND… wait for it… a giant 16×12 White House Christmas card (along with, implausibly, a second smaller Christmas card). What a day”

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) tweeted that she got the letter but did not get a Christmas card, and no coal either. She tweeted, “They’re coming into the House, too. (No Christmas card here – but no coal, either).”

“The Articles of Impeachment . . . include no crimes, no misdemeanors and no offenses whatsoever,” Trump wrote in the six-page letter to Pelosi, adding, “By proceeding with your invalid impeachment . . . you are declaring open war on American Democracy.”

President Trump also took a swipe at Pelosi for her comments she’s made about praying for him.

“You are offending Americans of faith by continually saying, ‘I pray for the President,’ when you know this statement is not true, unless it is meant in a negative sense,” he wrote.
