An ad for the wedding website Zola was pulled from the Hallmark Channel because it featured two brides kissing at a lesbian wedding. This has drawn outrage from the left who are calling for a boycott of the channel. On Sunday, the hashtag #BoycottHallmarkChannel was trending on twitter.

The ad was pulled at the request of the conservative organization One Million Moms. The group is a division of the American Family Association and states that its mission is to “stop the exploitation of our children, especially by the entertainment media.” They started a petition urging Hallmark to stop airing the commercial and other LGBTQ content.

In a statement to Fox News, Hallmark said that, “The debate surrounding these commercials on all sides was distracting from the purpose of our network, which is to provide entertainment value.” They pulled 4 of 6 Zola commercials that air on the network.
