Bloomberg Supporters Choreographed a Dance… And It’s Even MORE Awkward Than You Are Imagining
For some reason, Bloomberg supporters at a Beverly Hills, CA rally decided to make up and then perform a choreographed dance in support of their favorite candidate. In the clip, the very unexcited and rhythm-ess group performs the dance to the Maroon 5 song, “Moves Like Jagger”. What makes the dance and ensuing video even more cringe-worthy in that a weird, monotone voice speaks over the “Jagger” part of the chorus to change the line to, “I’ve got those moves like Bloomberg.”
The dance and ensuing video were apparently in response to the equally embarrassing “Mayor Pete Dance” done by the supporters of South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg.
if you do this dance you should be banned from voting for the rest of your life what the fuck is wrong with youpic.twitter.com/ilPKrdHhgY— jordan (@JordanUhl) November 17, 2019
Needless to say, the video was widely mocked on social media for everything from how low key it was to how small the crowd doing it was. Here is a sampling of the reaction on twitter where #BloombergDance was trending on Friday.
Nice try, but you'll never convince me there are enough Bloomberg heads in any one state to fill a medium-sized black box theatre. https://t.co/7hqyKGOA5X— Hans Mothman (@PersonalBeavis) December 13, 2019
OMG I can't stop laughing! At this Bloomberg rally the "crowd" of supporters made up their own dance.🤪🤣— MICHELLE❤KAG🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 (@Winning45KAG) December 13, 2019
What FOOL on his campaign thought this would be a good idea? I think it's a plant from Trump's camp.🤦♀️😭😭😭
