President Trump and the Cuomo family, Governor Andrew and CNN host Chris (Fredo) Cuomo, are not fans of each other. Chris regularly attacks the President on his nightly show and Andrew has openly defied President Trump on multiple occasions in his role as Governor of one of the biggest states in the country.

This week, when the President, a lifelong New Yorker, declared his intention to move his legal residence to Florida because of how bad New York has become, this set the Governor off. Cuomo told The Hill, “He’s being sued by the Manhattan District Attorney in New York for release of his taxes which he doesn’t want to do obviously and I think this is a desperate legal tactic whereby they’re going to argue well we’re not New York residents anymore, we’re Florida residents, so New York doesn’t have a right to the tax returns.”

This unsubstantiated accusation comes as the President explained his reasons for leaving New York which put the Governor’s state and the job he is doing in an unflattering light. He noted terrible Democratic leadership of the state, incredibly high taxes and energy costs, and the disrespecting of New York police as his reasons for moving south whenever he leaves his current home in Washington, D.C.
