American comedian and actress Kathy Griffin made an awful decision to pose with the severed, bloody head of President Trump in May 2017. She later apologized when she was told by people on the left and right that she went way too far.

On Sunday night, the red-headed 58-year-old comedian went on Twitter to denounce a video that is making its rounds on social media. Griffin tweeted, “Im depicted as being murdered by The President of the United States in this video. The left, right & center left me hanging out to dry regarding the Trump mask photo. Please don’t let it happen again. No, this video isn’t a joke to his followers. And it will not be taken as such.” She also included the controversial video in her tweet.

The viral video is a clip that was taken from the movie “Kingsman: The Secret Service” and re-edited to show the President’s face superimposed over actor Colin Firth’s face and shows him killing news organizations such as Vox, CNN, HuffPost, CBS, and others in the Church of Fake News. The faces of Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton, Bernie Sanders, Rosie O’Donnell, Maxine Waters, Obama and other outspoken critics of Trump were superimposed over the victims in the movie scene.

The clip was shown at a Miami conference at the Trump National Doral Miami. The event organizer told the The Times that the video was included as part of a meme exhibit. In a statement, the spokesperson said, “Content was submitted by third parties and was not associated with or endorsed by the conference in any official capacity. American Priority rejects all political violence and aims to promote a healthy dialogue about the preservation of free speech. This matter is under review.”

A spokesperson for President Trump told the media, “That video was not produced by the campaign, and we do not condone violence.”

White House Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham tweeted, “Re: the video played over the weekend: The POTUS has not yet seen the video, he will see it shortly, but based upon everything he has heard, he strongly condemns this video.”

It’s interesting that the media is showing this viral video but they aren’t reporting the real violence that happened at Trump’s rally last Thursday in Minneapolis.
