Independent journalist Andy Ngo was beaten and robbed by Antifa thugs in Portland, Oregon, on Saturday afternoon. Ngo was covering a protest of leftist Antifa as they marched the streets of downtown Portland with mask-covered faces chanting, “All cops are bastards!” Antifa thugs were there to protest the Proud Boys, a group of men who defend Trump supporters that were attacked because of their political views.

During the past few years, Ngo has captured some Antifa members’ violent acts on film. Today, Ngo became another one of Antifa’s victims, punching and kicking him, throwing milkshakes mixed with quick-drying cement, raw eggs, and pepper spray on him, and stealing his camera.

Ngo appeared visibly shaken after being punched in the face and robbed. Ngo said the police did nothing to stop Antifa members while it was happening.

Ngo tweeted, “Attacked by antifa. Bleeding. They stole my camera equipment. No police until after. waiting for ambulance . If you have evidence Of attack please help.”

The Portland Police issued a statement: “During today’s events, there were multiple assaults reported, as well as projectiles thrown at demonstrators and officers. There were also reports of pepper spray and bear spray being used by people in the crowd. Officers deployed pepper spray during the incident.”

A GoFundMe account was created for Ngo’s security and medical needs, and to replace his stolen camera. So far, $65,700 has been raised for the journalist. Ngo was admitted to the hospital for bleeding on the brain.
