Chaos continues to reign in the leftist-haven of Portland Oregon, with the rioters starting to target residential homes. This comes weeks after federal law enforcers were pulled back from the city because the local officials claimed that they are the ones causing the protesters to become violent.

Oregon Live gave a report on how the Antifa and Black Lives Matter activists have become more violent after a few weeks. “The Portland Police Bureau has declared a riot 18 times since the late May death of George Floyd, a Black man killed by Minneapolis police, according to figures released by the agency this week.” They added that 9 of those incidents have occurred in the month of August. Now, the unrest has spread and is affecting all parts of the city.

The rioters are starting to target the residential sections of the city. A group of around 200 rioters descended into the neighborhood of Northeast Portland. They started shining powerful lights at the homes that they passed by. The thugs shouted, “Out of your house, into the streets.” Others chanted, “Stolen land, stolen people,” as they marched along on the streets. Terrified residents can do nothing but look on and hope that the terrorists do not set fire to their houses or start a looting spree. The group also attacked police cars. They threw all kinds of objects into the vehicles, including paint. There are also reports that the rioters threw feces at the police vehicles.

Portland Police issued a statement regarding the incident, “The officers were targeted by thrown bottles, eggs, and green lasers toward their eyes. The lasers are powerful enough that they’re capable of causing serious, permanent eye damage. The police sound truck issued further warnings, notifying the crowd that officers have observed people in the area of North Precinct throwing projectiles and pointing lasers at officers. Anyone who is involved in criminal behavior including throwing projectiles and/or laser pointing, is subject to arrest, citation and/or use of force, including, but not limited to, crowd control agents and impact weapons.”

The police added that the rioters continued with their attacks despite the police warnings. That forced the officers to take more drastic steps which resulted in the arrest of nine individuals. It is predicted that the violence and the unrest will continue in the city as the rioters show no sign of stopping with their nightly activities.
