Court records show Hunter Biden, son of former Vice President Joe Biden, has agreed to monthly child support retroactive to November 2018.

The agreement came after an Arkansas judge ordered Biden to appear in court to explain why he shouldn’t be held in contempt. Biden missed a deadline to provide financial records to the court.

The contempt proceedings over Biden not turning over financial records have been scheduled for March 1, which gives Biden time to resolve the issue by turning over the information, according to Fox News.

The amount of child support to be paid to Lunden Alexis Roberts, the child’s mother, was redacted in the agreed order on temporary child supprot. Independence County Judge Holly Meyer said there wasn’t “sufficient information” to make a determination for an appropriate amount “based off the defendant’s income” and that the amount could be modified when additional evidence is provided.

Page Six published a recent photograph of Hunter with pregnant wife, Melissa Cohen Biden, next to his Porsche Panamera after the couple ate lunch at the Waldorf Astoria. Astoria’s weekend brunch is listed at $89 per person. The Washington Examiner reported Biden and Melissa are renting a Hollywood Hills home for $12,000 a month.

Judge Holly Meyer officially ruled Biden as the biological father of the 17-month-old boy he had with Lunden Alexis Roberts. Biden reportedly met Roberts while she was working as a stripper in a Washington, D.C. club he visited frequently.

Meyer noted the Arkansas Department of Health will issue a new or substituted birth certificate listing Biden as the father.

Biden initially denied paternity in Robert’s case until DNA results proved he was the baby’s father. He also refused to pay child support. In an attempt to keep his finances private, Biden filed a request to seal all financial records in the paternity case in Arkansas. The filing also noted that Biden had been unemployed since May 2019 and had significant debt since his divorce in 2017.

News reports claim Biden earned up to $80,000 per month while serving on the board of a Ukrainian gas company Burisma Holdings, dating from 2014 to the spring of 2019. Biden has no history of experience in the gas industry. Biden and Ukraine’s connection prompted President Trump to request Ukraine’s President Zelensky to investigate the situation.

Biden’s testimony could play a key role in the impeachment trial against Trump if witnesses are permitted. Texas Republican Senator Ted Cruz referred to Biden’s testimony as “directly relevant.”
