President Trump has made a large investment in upgrading Presidential security during his time in office. One of his creations, a 7-seat limo known as “The Beast” was seen transporting President Trump around the streets of London this week during the NATO summit.

“The Beast” is a Cadillac One limo which, once upgraded, cost around $1.5 million. It now has a host of security features that seem like they come directly from a Hollywood movie. The limo with the enhanced security weighs about 20,000 lbs. because of its eight-inch thick armor-plated doors and bulletproof windows made up of five layers of glass and polycarbonate.

While the government does not release its exact features, it is believed to also be equipped with assault rifles in the doors, tear gas grenade launchers, night vision cameras and a satellite phone. It also has Kevlar-reinforced tires and steel rims which can keep the vehicle moving even if the tires have been damaged. Secret Service even keeps a plenty of medical supplies in the car including bottles of the president’s blood type in case of a medical emergency.

When deployed in a foreign country, “The Beast” is just one of the security vehicles in the U.S. President’s motorcade. There is also a decoy limo as well as medical emergency vehicles with more of the President’s blood type, multiple security vehicles with highly-trained Secret Service, counter-surveillance and electronic jamming vehicles, and even one carrying a specialized hazardous materials team.
