Rep. Al Green got theatrical today in Congress as he talked about President Trump’s use of the word “lynching.” The 72-year-old Democrat stood next to a poster board which displayed the “Number of Days The Trump Administration Has Been Above The Law,” as he yelled in a preacher-like manner.

“How dare the president compare lynching to impeachment. How dare he do this,” shouted Green. “Does he not know the history of lynching in this country? Does he not know that thousands of African Americans were lynched? Mob violence. Does he not know this is the equivalent of murder? How dare the president compare a lawful constitutional process to mob violence and lynching.”

Does Green not know it was members of the Democratic party - the KKK - who lynched African Americans?

Does Green not know that Jerry Nadler, Rep. Gregory Meeks, Rep. Danny Davis, Rep. Jim McDermott, and many others used the words “lynch mob,” “lynching,” and “political lynch mob,” when referring to President Bill Clinton’s impeachment in 1998?

Does he not know that Senator Kamala Harris and Senator Cory Booker used the phrase “modern-day lynching” to describe the fake hate crime staged by actor Jussie Smollet?

Green’s dramatic speech is the same song and dance the Democrats showed us when they called President Trump a racist for using the word “rat infested,” a description many others also used when describing the city of Baltimore including Baltimore’s own mayor, Catherine Pugh.

Watch:

Green admitted in an interview on MSNBC in May 2019, “If we don’t impeach this president, he will get reelected.” This is exactly what Hillary has been saying.

Please tell us what you think of Rep. Al Green’s speech.
