Rep. Joaquin Castro, brother of Democratic presidential candidate Julian Castro, tweeted a list of the names and employers of Trump’s donors on Tuesday. The list included the names of 44 San Antonio residents who donated the maximum allowed under campaign finance laws. Castro wrote, “Sad to see so many San Antonians as of 2019 maximum donors to Donald Trump. Their contributions are fueling a campaign of hate that labels Hispanic immigrants as ‘invaders.’”

Castro, who is also Julian Casto’s presidential campaign chairman, defended himself by stating the list is public information, but to do this immediately after the mass shootings is disturbing.

Others have followed Castro by retweeting the names and businesses of donors.
