Former Vice President and Democratic nominee, Joe Biden continued to deny his connections with his son, Hunter’s business deal following the bombshell report from the New York Post, which exposed his close ties with Ukrainian executives.

In a video footage posted by President Donald Trump’s re-election campaign, a reporter asked the nominee to comment on the Federal Bureau of investigation’s (FBI) seizure of Hunter’s laptop. However, instead of addressing the issue, Biden left no words and immediately walked out of the interview. In fact, the nominee immediately left as soon as she heard the word “FBI.” The incident happened on Sunday, during his campaign rally in North Carolina.

For years, Biden had struggled to deal with Hunter’s dubious deals with foreign interests. Then, just last week, the New York post dropped a major bombshell, as a 2015 screenshot of an email showed that one of the Burisma executives thanked Hunter for setting them up with a meeting with the then-Vice President. According to the media outlet, they have retrieved messages from a laptop that Hunter had dropped off at a local computer repair shop in Delaware after the Bureau launched an investigation on his dubious business deals. Hunter tried to claim that the laptop was broken due to “water damage.” Fortunately, the computer technician claimed that he was able to retrieve files from Hunter’s laptop. He then shared the files from the drive with former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani. In another report from Breitbart News, the media outlet confirmed that they were able to get hold of 26,000 emails from Bevan Cooney, his former business partner. Moreover, the media outlet also discovered that Hunter and his business associates launched a plan called “China Inc.,” which was meant to promote soft diplomacy among Chinese communists. Most concerningly, Hunter and his business associates were able to capitalize on his father’s previous position in the Obama administration.

Currently, Biden’s campaign team continued to deny his involvement with Ukrainian execs. In fact, the team claimed that according to the Vice President’s official schedule, there was nothing that was listed to prove that Biden held a meeting with Burisima executives. However, they cannot outrightly deny the possibility that an “informal meeting” must have taken place. Media outlet Politico wrote, “Biden’s campaign would not rule out the possibility that the former VP had some kind of informal interaction with [the representative] which wouldn’t appear on Biden’s official schedule.”
