The presumptive Democratic party’s candidate Joe Biden seemed to have forgotten the word for coronavirus during an interview for the Politics Nation TV show. His appearance was recorded and yet they were unable to make him look good during the interview. “Everyone who, in fact, gets—is found to have the, uh, the, uh, the COVID, uh, 19 virus,” Biden told host Al Sharpton at one point during the interview.

Biden’s gaffes did not end there. There was a part where he appeared to have genuinely lost his train of thought while he was talking about Hillary Clinton. At another point during the interview, he attacked President Donald Trump but then apologized because he could not remember where he got the information. Later in the interview, his responses became more fluid and he appeared to be talking straight without the usual interruptions that are fast becoming his way of speaking in public now, but others point out that he seems to be reading from a teleprompter during that part of the interview. For some, that was the only explanation of how he could talk straight for that long without him losing his train of thought.

Biden’s critics have been pointing out the obvious decline in his cognitive ability as a clear sign that he should not be running for the presidency. Still, the Democrats are pushing for his candidacy. They seem to be determined to vote for him even if he is not up for the job or even after there is a credible accusation against him of sexual assault which should be checked.

But no matter how the Democrats and the mainstream media try to protect him, Biden’s mental decline is obvious whenever he gives an interview. During an appearance on MSNBC on Friday, he claimed that 600,000 Americans have already died because of the coronavirus twice.
