If there are any winners that had emerged from the Democratic presidential debate in Las Vegas, Bloomberg is definitely not one of them. The presidential hopeful did so poorly in his debate performance that President Donald Trump called him “grossly incompetent.”

In his Twitter post, the president wrote, “Mini Mike Bloomberg’s debate performance tonight was perhaps the worst in the history of debates, and there have been some really bad ones. He was stumbling, bumbling and grossly incompetent. If this doesn’t knock him out of the race, nothing will. Not so easy to do what I did!”

After missing the New Hampshire and the Iowa caucus, Bloomberg made his first public appearance during the NBC debate. His fellow Democrats gave him a warm welcome by trashing the billionaire and giving out pointed questions in which Bloomberg struggled to give a sensible response.

Trump went on to slam Bloomberg’s poor stage performance. “Mini Mike Bloomberg is a LOSER who has money but can’t debate and has zero presence, you will see. He reminds me of a tiny version of Jeb “Low Energy” Bush, but Jeb has more political skill and has treated the Black community much better than Mini!”

Finally, Trump slammed the aspiring presidential nominee suggesting that his inability to respond well will also affect his polls. “Mini Mike Bloomberg doesn’t get on the Democrat Debate Stage because he doesn’t want to - he is a terrible debater and speaker. If he did, he would go down in the polls even more (if that is possible!),” Trump declared.

Even Hollywood dashed Bloomberg’s presidential aspirations, and some had even used the opportunity to praise other Democratic nominees.

As singer and songwriter, Minnie Driver wrote “(Forgive me) Mike signed his death Warren with the “I’m nice to some women” comment. @ewarren”

Ashley Judd also chimed in “Go, @ewarren go. #DemDebate “I’d like to talk about who we’re running against, a billionaire who calls women fat broads and horse-faced lesbians. I’m not talking about Donald Trump. I’m talking about Mayor Bloomberg,” she said. And she was just getting started.

Then, Jimmy Dore perfectly summed up the billionaire’s performance, “It’s so funny watching Bloomberg being unable to fake not being a huge asshole for even 1 minute. #DemDebate”

Bloomberg responded to Trump’s posts by declaring that the president was the real winner “Look, the real winner in the debate last night was Donald Trump,” as he referred to the aftermath of his debate. The former New York City Mayor also claimed that nominees like Sen. Bernie Sanders do not have a chance to stand up against Trump. “If we choose a candidate who appeals to a small base, like Sen. Sanders, it will be a fatal error. We need Democrats and independents and Republicans to win,” Bloomberg declared.

Trump had long predicted that Bloomberg will probably fail during the debate. In his earlier post, the president jabbed the billionaire, “Mike is a 5’4” mass of dead energy who does not want to be on the debate stage with these professional politicians. No boxes please.”
